I haven’t completely stopped working on puzzles.
Even though we now have a Beagle puppy—Nova—in the house (she’s 11 weeks old and growing fast!), I’ve managed to pick up my puzzle projects again whenever things are quiet. I’m keeping it on a small scale, though, as I don’t dare tackle any really large puzzles just yet.
Nova can be a little devil, but she’s also funny, sweet, and very affectionate—well, she is just a puppy, after all! She sleeps soundly in her crate at night—right through until the early morning hours—so we get our sleep. Some days we’re a bit more tired, but that’s just life, isn’t it?
So, whenever things are calm, I’ve resumed my jigsaw puzzle projects—though on a small scale, as I don’t feel ready to tackle the really big ones just yet.
Since the upcoming Christmas will be Nova’s first, I’m planning an Advent calendar—covering the four Sundays leading up to Christmas.
I’ll also be adding a page dedicated to the Christmas-themed puzzles I’ve already completed.
Once the new year arrives, there will be winter-themed puzzles, too.
So, I have plenty of puzzle plans—and as Nova grows older and becomes more settled, she’ll also learn that her “mom” needs a little downtime
