Here comes the rain

by

My last autumn puzzle for this time.
1000 pieces – from the Danish brand Vissevasse
Here comes the rain
This puzzle was a little more demanding than expected – especially the tree and the many flying leaves teased me.
Besides that, it’s definitely not the last Vissevasse I’ve made – I’m more than satisfied with the very flat looking puzzle it has.

Little — minipuzzle

by

These small relaxing puzzles with 150 pieces come from the Danish brand Vissevasse.
Little bakery – Little florist – Little garden -Little cafe.

Right now, I don’t bother with the big, extensive 1000-piece puzzles – so I’ve thrown myself at something a little smaller.

For the next time, my puzzles will contain up to 500 pieces – so we’ll see what the new year brings that way.

Christmas is coming – and I have already put 2 Christmas puzzles  together, the first i april – the 2. i september – there will be another 2 – so that together they will form every Sunday in Advent.

Last – I still have 1 autumn puzzle 1000 pieces – it will soon be on display here.

Stay tuned.

Cozy Cottage (puzzle)

by

I bought this puzzle last year during Christmas – but have only done it now. It fits very well with the fact that autumn is now upon us.
Cozy Cottage is illustrated by Dutch artist Esther Bennink. I bought mine at the puzzle shop in Helsingør – but you can order these fine puzzles directly from Esther Bennink, who has her own webshop.
The pieces are very nice to work with – but the somewhat dark colors teased me sometimes.

Autumn Cottage (Trevell)

by

Autumn Cottage – 1000 pieces, designed by Nicolle Lalonde.
This puzzle has some good pieces – but they are VERY dull and thus quite difficult to see through. The light falls in such a stupid way and therefore it gives some reflections that make it difficult to see where the piece should be. This puzzle is in the dark end and therefore even harder to put together.
Basically, I liked the pieces – but I don’t want such a dark motif from Trevell again.
I completed it and it took 9 days to do which is a bit longer than usual when I lay puzzles.

Home of fairytales

by

This puzzle comes from the Danish Penny puzzle and puzzle shop Helsingør Denmark. (Puslespilsbutikken Helsingør)
It contains 26 of H.C. Andersen’s stories. H.C. Andersen is world-famous for his stories and a large piece of Danish cultural treasure.
My way around puzzles is starting to take a different direction, as I want to look more and more into other kinds of puzzles. I have quite a few in stock, but something different will appear in between.
This puzzle is called Home of Fairytales – has 1000 good and bright safe pieces that are easy to work with. So this is not the last time I will work with something like this.

Cottage Pond (early autumn)

by

August is not over yet – but autumn is just around the corner.
This puzzle has large pieces – which, however, get smaller as you work towards the right side. It is a family puzzle – with 350 pieces – the size is 68×49 cm
The image of the deer by the lake and the autumn-like trees, the very blue sky, shows the beginning of autumn.

It is Cobble Hill and smart cut tiles and William Vanderdasson has painted the motif.
