My autumn 26

There is just under a week left until our puppy moves in. We’ve had plenty to do—shopping for the initial period and discussing how to handle things regarding the puppy and within the family. It’s not our first time getting a puppy—we’ve had Oscar and Darwin before—but it’s been 16 years since Darwin, so some things need refreshing, while others I (or we) will handle differently.
Alongside the arrival of our new family member, I’ve been busy with my jigsaw puzzles. I’ve stuck to the plan I made this summer, which has kept me very busy working on my autumn and Christmas puzzles.
I have just a couple left to do—one with 350 pieces and one with 275 pieces.

I can also reveal that there will be two Advent calendars this Christmas when it comes to puzzles. It’s going to be Cobble Hill and House of Puzzle Christmas this year.

We don’t yet know how our puppy’s personality and behavior will develop. We have to get to know each other, so the coming period will naturally revolve around her—and yes, it’s a little lady who’s moving in. Even though it means I probably won’t get much sleep for a while, I’m incredibly excited to get to know her.

I’ll be adding more puzzles as I go, through autumn, christmas, and winter —and I imagine I’ll still be able to sit down with a puzzle now and then.
I’ll share a bit more about our new little puppy as soon as I can.
