Dream cake from Brovst

This cake is a danish specialty

Baked a dream cake from brovst today. It’s been a long time since I last baked it.
This time it was round instead of the usual square.
The recipe is the same as always

the cake
3 eggs
150 g. cane sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 dl milk or plant drink
50 g melted butter, cooled
1½ tsp baking powder
190 g flour

Filling
140 g brown sugar
120 g butter
2 tbsp milk/plant drink
125 g coconut flour

Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla until white. Add the milk and melted butter and stir together.
Mix the baking powder in the flour and beat this into the egg mixture.
Put the dough in a suitable mold either with baking paper on the bottom or a greased mold
bake the cake at 190 degrees for about 30 minutes.
While the cake is baking – heat the filling in a pan until it is a uniform mass.
When the cake is baked through – check with a stick whether it is baked, remove it from the oven and spread the filling on top. Then bake it for another 5-8 minutes until the filling is caramelized.
Cool the cake completely before cutting it into suitable pieces.
