Made a quick Christmas puzzle yesterday – photographed it and packed it away again, Now the pictures are waiting until Christmas approaches.
Today I wanted to start with a Trevell puzzle that I had in my stash. The puzzle is brand new – never opened.
I spent a lot of time sorting as always – the edge pieces came off and it was color sorted.
After my afternoon coffee I wanted to make the edge around the puzzle – as I always do.
But something wasn’t right – I had made sure that everything fit – but apparently 3 pieces were missing.
All my sorted pieces were poured out on the table – one sorting after the other – but the three pieces remained GONE.
I got mad in big letters. Packed all the pieces in the box again and slammed the lid on. I can’t reuse the puzzle, but have to throw it away – and most of all I had wasted a lot of hours for nothing.
This isn’t the first time this has happened – but 3 edge pieces is excessive.
