I’ve been busy with my puzzles this year. In fact, I’ve produced 58 puzzles so far. That’s significantly more than I did last year up until July, when I “only” made 35 in the same period from January to July.
This is not least because I/we have lost Darwin and I’ve simply had to shut off my grief and thoughts and therefore throw myself into puzzles instead. Since Darwin passed away, the pace has picked up from April to July – that is, the last 3 months.
We’re on summer vacation from the coming weekend. Not much is going to happen – so I’m celebrating Christmas in July as far as puzzles are concerned.
Christmas in July is well-known among puzzlers – and is often in competition on social media – especially Instagram. Puzzlers who have Christmas puzzles to spare – compete together this month.
I myself have quite a few in stock that I haven’t made yet. So I’m challenging myself to get some of them made. The first one is already on the way. And then I’ll see how it goes.
When August comes I will return to my normal puzzle order again.
I am a so-called seasonal puzzler – who follows the course of the year when it comes to puzzles. I like to divide it into spring, summer, autumn and winter – and in between Christmas.
So until August – there will be no more new puzzles from my hand. The Christmas puzzles should be saved for December.
